Tuesday 8th November - 2022 AGM and Public Talk
Our 2022 AGM and public talk took place at 7pm at the Upper Sturt Soldiers Memorial Hall. The public talk was an exciting public talk presented by Brittany Norris from the Nature Conservation Society of South Australia who are playing a key role in the Bandicoot Superhighway project.

Our 2021 AGM and public talk took place at 7pm at the Upper Sturt Soldiers Memorial Hall. The public talk was exciting look into Upper Sturt natural history presented by Tony Robinson.
Wednesday 23rd June - Locals in Conversation Public Talk
A Q&A panel discussion about the history of local Upper Sturt flora and fauna compered by John Halsey with panel members,
Helen Petersen - Grew up in Belair and Long Gully in the National Park! Now an active member of the Upper Sturt community.
Malcolm Morgan - An Ironbank local through and through. Keen observer of changes over the years.
Peter Woolcock - Scott Creek Primary School student from the 1940s. Worked the family farm and market garden for many years.

2020 Annual General Meeting - Presented by Peggy Rismiller
Ecologist Dr Peggy Rismiller was the guest speaker at SURLG’s AGM and Public Meeting on Tuesday 10th November 2020.
Peggy presented an interesting and informative talk entitled “From the Ashes – Kangaroo Island.”
She and her partner Mike McElvey have years of experience studying the unique Kangaroo Island environment.
