Bandicoot Habitat Species List

Compiled by Kirstin Long, DEH Bandicoot Project, October 2007

This is a list of plants that commonly occur in bandicoot habitat in the central Adelaide Hills.

The list is not a comprehensive list of all species that occur in bandicoot habitat but it contains those species that typically contribute most to vegetation density. You should check that these species occur in your local area before using them in a revegetation program.  Many of these species are difficult (or impossible) to propogate and may therefore not be commercially available.

Plants highlighted in green are known to be suitable for the Sturt Upper Reaches Catchment Area.
